Dominating the market with more than 720,000 members from 180 different countries, the Cure WorldCosplay platform has over 6.5 million shared photos and a strong following of 430,000 followers on their social media. Using that as leverage, we took on the mission to create the Cosplay Token (COT) identity, brand pillars and website development. We created a voice for Cosplay Token through our community engagement, social media and PR initiatives.

With the brand pillars in mind, we developed the Cosplay Token website using bright colours to keep the readers engaged (don’t pretend you’re not engaged) and drive them to contribute to the ICO. We figured clear typography with simple structural elements would help with navigation, keeping the content short, snappy and intriguing for both the cosplay community and crypto-enthusiasts.
Apart from design, our marketing strategy for Cosplay Token included various listings, top-ranking sites and relevant news disemmination on publications like Forbes, CCN, and NewsBTC.
Overall, we had a total of 16 listings, 32 media mentions, 1,180 social shares, and estimated coverage of 319,000 views just in a span of under 6 months.
Additionally, we ran multilingual competitions, bounty programs, and reward programs as part of the overall strategy.
