Hatch Quarter is a new co-working hub in the heart of the Docklands. With creative spaces, collaborative areas and plans to hold events and workshops, it is designed to foster innovation and is the ideal place to find like-minded individuals who share your drive to succeed.
From Inception to Now
We started working with Hatch Quarter when their co-working space was merely a concept. We created an entire brand identity, including brand name, stationery and interior branding. With our marketing strategy and branding in mind, we built a cutting edge landing page to spread the word and started planning a launch campaign. The combined force of our planning and branding gave Hatch Quarter the momentum it needed to open with a bang and maintain this strong position far into the future.
As part of LaunchVic’s third round funding, Hatch Quarter engaged us for a complete rebrand and marketing strategy leading up to the creation of an event series, community meetups, and ultimately, the Hatch Quarter Playbook to support first-generation refugee and migrant entrepreneurs in Victoria. The initial KPIs were 240 people to be reached through events and 8 meetups over a 12-month period. In true Mo Works fashion, we smashed it and went over and beyond to deliver excellence.

We crafted a simple but bold and modern design with a united approach. The new logo is an alteration of the previous with clearer fonts to promote a stronger presence. The fresh logo represents the brand, an exclusive place to fit different shapes, promoting diversity.

HQ Event Series and Playbook launch event
With various headliners ranging from ‘How to Fund Your Startup’, ‘Starting Small to Growing Big’, ‘Government Support in the Startup Industry’, and ‘Law For Startups’, Hatch Quarter’s informative and interactive event series became a massive hit. The HQ event series has attracted thousands of individuals, with attendees representing a diverse group of migrant and first-generation entrepreneurs, creatives, tech professionals, journalists and government officials.
As for the Playbook launch event, we exceeded our target of 100 attendees and sold a total of 120 tickets. Not to mention, 80% of our tickets were purchased through our organic marketing channels!
Mo Works worked with Hatch Quarter to design and create the Playbook – a resource commissioned by LaunchVic for international entrepreneurs looking to begin their startup journey.
