The Al Nabil Company is a leading food products organisation that operates in Jordan and manufactures a wide range of frozen and chilled products. For the World Cup 2014, Al Nabil wished to develop a promotional tool that took advantage of the excitement of the global sporting event to strengthen their brand awareness.
We achieved this aim by designing an augmented reality app that allowed users to take photos with the World Cup's star players. Users simply had to scan the QR code on a Nabil product to unlock the camera and take a picture. A main feature of Nabil 1945 is its ability to store the images in the phone's photo gallery, so people can revisit the hype of the World Cup at their leisure. This feature also gives people the option to share their photo on social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
